Wadi Rum region can be discovered during a Jeep ride!
Wadi Rum desert has an area of 720 km2 and is traveled mainly by jeep and to have time to visit all the major sites on the protected area, we recommend a minimum of 2 days to appreciate the richness and extent of its desert.
Some sites are more or less far away from one of the others and there is nothing better than being installed in an open jeep to discover as many places as possible while enjoying a 360° view of the entire desert. With your guide you will crisscross the valleys of Wadi Rum, about 45km can be traveled in a day alternating small stops to visit and admire the sites as well as a lunch break, or even a well-deserved nap to recharge the batteries!!
Choosing a jeep tour is especially important if you plan to stay for at least two days, allowing you to explore the desert more thoroughly and reach the access roads to mountains like Umm Ad Dami or Jebel Al-Hash, which border Saudi Arabia. A two-day jeep tour offers the chance to embark on a magical journey through the first part of the desert, the reddest, and the second, known as the White Desert.
