🕙 The tour starts at 10 a.m. so you can arrive between 9/9:30 a.m. at our house which is our meeting point.
🛻 You will be able to park your car there and we will share some tea before you start your tour.
🌙 However, you have the possibility to arrive in the evening and start the tour the next day after your breakfast.
In the morning :
→ Khazali Canyon
→ Sand Dune
→ Little Bridge
In the afternoon :
→ Anfashieh Inscriptions
→ Lawrence House
From our house, you will go towards the desert, you will see the following places in the morning: Sand Dune, Khazali Canyon, the Little Arch, and Lawrence’s House.
The first site you will see is the Sand Dune, fun to climb, arriving at the top you will be presented with an incredible view overlooking the Rum Valley.
Then you will continue towards Khazali, known for its inscriptions, you will go with your guide, he will show you where to find them while giving you explanations.
Not far from the canyon, your guide will take you to one of the most famous places in Wadi Rum: The Little Arch. As the name suggests, this natural rock formation is a must see here. You can stop for tea and then climb it to go take a picture.
You will then proceed to the inscriptions of Anfashieh, where you will make a stop. Afterwards you will go to Lawrence’s House.
To end your day, your guide will take you to a beautiful place, where you can admire the sunset.
Then you will leave in the direction of our Bedouin Camp or Under the Stars according to your choice.
For the night you have the choice between the following options :
If you decide to sleep in our Bedouin Camp, your guide will drive you there. When you will arrive our team will show you your tent, where you will be able to put your bags/luggage. You can take some time for yourself, use the bathroom..
In the meantime, our chef will prepare you a delicious traditional dinner cooked under the sand called Zarb, it is the speciality. Cooked for several hours, the vegetables and the chicken are tender and cooked perfectly with care.
After dinner you can spend some time around the fire in our dinning tent, the Bedouin tea will always be ready. When the weather gets warmer, in spring/summer, at night we will have a place outside where you will be able to watch our starry sky.
But if you choose to Sleep Under The Stars, your guide will drive you in a beautiful place in the desert, where you will be settling down and organizing the camp for the night. (Know that we provide the equipment such as blankets, sleeping bags and mattresses.)
While your guide is preparing the fire and dinner, you can have some time for yourself, watch the sunset or even have a walk.
In the mean time, your guide will continue to prepare the dinner, you will be tasting a delicious bedouin dish cooked with care by your guide on the fire accompanied by our good Bedouin tea. Sleeping in the desert is incredible, between the cool nights, the stars, the Milky Way (when there is no moon), the fire and the good company. There is everything to spend a good moment.
If you have taken the decision not to sleep, then your guide will drive you back to the village after the sunset.
Also, depending on the location of your camp we might be able to drive you to the camp you have booked. Let us know while booking so we can organize that 🙂
