Wadi Rum counts in one of the World Heritage sites of UNESCO. Our desert is located at the boarder with Saudi Arabia, you can find narrow gorges, towering cliffs, natural arches, caverns.. but also, archaeological that has been kept safe for more than thousand of years. It is a unique desert, and its beauty will mesmerize you.

Abu Rashaba canyon is worth visiting, this hike will take you around 30min. In the middle, you will have some climbing to do. No special difficulty, since there is just one way. But it is very beautiful and arriving on the other side is amazingly surprising.
You will be walking through narrows walls, until the end of this small canyon. On your way, inscriptions can be spotted on the walls, camels or even hunters. If you have a hard time noticing them, you can ask your guide, he will show them to you.
In Wadi Rum it exists three different kind of arches : Um Frouth Rock Bridge, Burdah Arch and the Little Bridge. It is the smallest of them all, these geological formations attracts a lot. You will be able to climb it easily, and admire the beautiful view that it offers of the valley.
Um Frouth Rock Bridge is one of the most famous places in Wadi Rum desert, it is about 15 to 20 meters high. It is possible to climb to the top, from the side of the hill, to go take a picture on the Bridge.
Burdah Rock Bridge, also known as Burdah Arch, it is 300m high above sea level. The bridge in itself is 35m, which counts it in one of the highest rock bridges in the world. It offers beautiful panoramic views, that you will not regret seeing.
Jebel Umm Ad Dami is the highest summit in Jordan with more than 1800m high, it is found at the boarder of Saudi Arabia. The view from the top is more than magnificent since you’ve got the view on all Wadi Rum from both side of both countries.
This mountain is close to the border with Saudi Arabia. It is 1700m high, its level of difficulty is easy. No need to have a lot of experience. It is one of the most beautiful hikes you can do. 4h to go up and down, you will not regret it.
Located close to Khazali, the Sand dune is a fun climb to do. Arriving at the top, a beautiful view will be offered to you. These formations are due to a lot of wind and dry climate.
Mushroom Rock is one of the natural formation rock you can find in Wadi Rum, It is quite impressive. As soon as you will see it, you will recognize it.
Nabatean inscriptions, ancient drawings of animals and men where drawn on the walls of the mountain.
It is where you can find sources of water that comes from the mountain. Now used mostly for the animals such as camels and goats.
It is said that Lawrence of Arabia has been staying at this exact location during the Arabian War. Whether he has actually lived there or used it for his personal belongings is still a mystery.
Close to the sunset place the chicken rock can be spotted between two small mountains.
Its natural formation will make you see the hen and its chick
Bearing the name of the book of Lawrence of Arabia, this mountain can be seen from the Visitor Center. It can be admired about 7km before our village.
