Lawrence's Spring

Lawrence’s spring is a source of water from the mountains that runs through a pipe from the top of the mountain, to a reservoir of water used by Bedouin herds. Near the village this source is now widely used by Bedouin families living near the source. There is now a small stream of water coming from it.

It is possible to climb part of the mountain to see the water coming and down into the pipe now installed. The source is best known for having a magnificent view that can be seen in Lawrence of Arabia’s film.

Being one of the sites to visit in Wadi Rum, Lawrence’s source is a must. You will therefore have the opportunity to see this view during your full day jeep tour in Wadi Rum.
