Jabal Umm Ad Dami: Through the summits of the Wadi Rum

Jabal Umm Ad Dami, located on the border with Saudi Arabia, is the highest summit in Jordan. At 1854 meters above sea level, the view at the top is simply INCREDIBLE! This hike, one of the most difficult in Wadi Rum, also offers the most beautiful view of the desert, with a 360-degree panorama. You will be amazed by the splendour of the landscapes, without knowing which side to look at as the view is so beautiful.

⟡ A hike accessible to athletes

This mountain is a good hour from our village and only a few kilometers from the Saudi border. Although hiking is demanding, it is accessible, especially for athletes. The guides always adapt the rhythm according to the group, thus guaranteeing a pleasant experience for all. If you are not very enduring, no worries you’ll reach the summit as well !

Details of the ascent

Duration for basic athletes : 1h30 to reach the top.
Duration for experienced hikers : About an hour (or less) to reach the top.
