Wadi Rum is one of the most spectacular natural sites in the Middle East and is by far one of the most important stages in all of Jordan!
Also known as the Valley of the Moon, it offers an extraordinary playground for all hikers and lovers of wide open spaces, with its spectacular desert landscapes, monumental rock formations and vast stretches of sand!
This immersion in the heart of the desert will take you far from tourist sites and off the beaten track for the most passionate.
Whether for a short day trip or for a longer expedition, several combinations are possible to explore this so fascinating and oh so magical desert!
You want to walk while admiring beautiful landscapes. Jabal Al-Hash is for you. You will drive in the second part of the Wadi Rum which is whiter than the first.
This hike is suitable for everyone, even for children.
There will be small climbs along the way, but in 1 hour you will be at this magnificent point of view, overlooking Wadi Rum.
In search of adventure, Burdah is made for you! The mix between hiking and climbing will take you to the largest arch in the world. The bridge itself is only a few meters long, but its opening is 35m high.
Once on the arch, a magnificent view of Wadi Rum will be offered to you. However, we do not recommend this hike to those who are scared of heights.
This ascent is one of the hardest you will find in the Wadi Rum! However, the view at the top is just AMAZING!
Being the highest peak in the country at 1854m, you will be at the top of Jordan with a 360-degree view.
The climb is certainly not easy, but it’s worth the detour!!!!
And for those who want to walk longer distances, we offer a trekking program that can be adjusted. To enjoy the maximum we start at a minimum of three days, since you will see less on foot than the back of the jeep. Do not hesitate to discuss it with us during our exchanges. We are flexible and organize tailor-made programs ☺️
No matter where you choose to explore, a hike in Wadi Rum will be an unforgettable experience and a breathtaking adventure in one of the most emblematic deserts in the world.
