Lawrence of Arabia known and born as Thomas Edward Lawrence, he made history and made Wadi Rum known, after participating in the Arab revolt of 1916-1918 against the Ottoman Empire.
Born in 1888 in North Wales, he became an officer and writer. Before being hired as an officer in the British army, he began his meeting with the Arab people during a trip to Syria as an archaeologist well before the start of the First World War.
